What is the Evil Eye?
A force that one cannot perceive through the five senses but is believed to cause harm, illness, or aberration from steady life.
It can be cast accidentally or intentionally by people who are envious, overly admiring, or harbour negative emotions.
Most common in babies, children, women, successful people or anyone who draws attention
Common signs (generally observed commonly in children up to 24 months / 2 years)
- Sudden crying without reason
- Fever without medical explanation
- Refusal to feed
- Sleeplessness or nightmares
- Unusual restlessness or clinging
Drishti (Evil Eye) Removal
- Circle the yellow mustard seeds three times over the head of a person.
- Then immediately burn it by throwing it into the fire.
- Best done during sunrise or sunset.
Note: Avoid doing it late at night unless it’s part of a specific tantric ritual and under guidance. - After the ritual, wash your hands.

Mantras/Chants:
- Chanting simple mantras like “Om Namah Shivaya” or “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” during the ritual boosts spiritual energy.
- Some also recite Durga Kavach, Hanuman Chalisa, or any other Mahaveer Kavach.
